33rd European Congress of Psychiatry
05.04.2025 - 08.04.2025
The 33rd European Congress of Psychiatry will take place on 5-8 April 2025 in Madrid, Spain.
The European Psychiatric Association (EPA) community is growing fast, as testified by the increasing number of members and the numerous activities the EPA is organising. Many of the community members are young and clinically oriented, and it is this clinical orientation that is highlighted in the motto of the 2025 Madrid Congress “Towards Real-World Solutions in Mental Health”. Next to excellent and ground-breaking research, one of the core interests of EPA is the clinical translation of these findings and the sharing of good practices.
EBC President Suzanne Dickson will speak in a joint workshop on ‘No Health Without Brain Health & the Brain Health Mission: Raising Awareness & Putting the Brain on the Top of the Policy Agenda’. This workshop represents a collaboration between EPA, the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and EBC.
We will also present an e-poster on the second phase of the Rethinking Schizophrenia project, co-created by the European Brain Council (EBC) and the European Psychiatric Association (EPA). This report looks at ways to optimise the care pathway, from the first episode of psychosis to long-term care.
Furthermore, EBC is pleased to be present at booth 14C in the exhibition space. Come and find us to learn more about our ongoing activities, projects and the upcoming events!
EBC is looking forward to seeing you and the whole EPA community in Madrid!
