The European Parliament Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety of the European Parliament (ENVI) is holding a workshop entitled “The Brain, A New Approach to Brain Diseases” on Wednesday, 21 November 2018 in the European Parliament from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

EBC President Prof. Monica Di Luca is included as a speaker and will address the topic of “Framework conditions for tackling brain diseases in Europe”, covering the promotion of brain research at a European level in order to improve the quality of life of people living with brain disorders in Europe, the activity of patient associations, major brain-related societies as well as industries, working to foster cooperation with its member’s organisations, promote dialogue between scientists, industry and society and the issues concerning representation of European neurology, psychiatry, neuroscience, patient/carer and pharmaceutical organizations are also to be included.
